Lammack Methodist Church

An evangelical mission focused church which welcomes new members. Lammack is engaged in outreach in the community with relevant worship assisted by a worship group. The Sunday school, Youth Club, and Stay and Play sessions for parents and carers of pre-school children are organised by the family worker, Fiona Moretta.

Eat, Drink, Praise meets every month alternating with Mellor and Wilpshire churches, providing Craft, Prayers, Praise and Food for primary age children and their parents and carers. Information from Fiona Moretta .

There are a variety of House Groups, Fellowship and Bible study groups. A number of new initiatives have started in the last two years: Coffee morning, team entering the pub quiz, community engagement through innovative events.

Lammack is part of a Covenant LEP with the local URC, Anglican and Roman Catholic churches.

Room hire

Rooms of various sizes available for hire for regular bookings or single meetings and events. For details contact Michael Bancroft on 01254 51703.

Volunteer Vacancies!

The Stay and Play Group at Lammack is short of volunteers to come along and help! The group is led by Fiona Moretta (Family Worker at Lammack and Mellor) and meets every Monday morning during school term time from 9.30-11.30am. This is a very popular and busy group but more help is required to keep it running smoothly.

Lammack Youth Club (for 7-11 year olds) needs more helpers. The Club meets on Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm during school term time—again under the leadership of Fiona.

If you feel you could help with any of the above or for more information please phone Fiona Moretta on 07946 085811

Stay and Play

Stay and Play at Lammack Methodist Church welcomes pre-school children and their parents and carers. The sessions are on Mondays 9.30am-11.30am (term time only) and consist of an interactive play session for parents and carers and their children to encourage play and social skills. As a group, Stay and Play is registered with Blackburn with Darwen Toy Library which has excellent facilities available and we are able to exchange interactive toys on a regular basis.
